Here is a picture from the last trip SFC Kerchal and SPC Benes took. It is a M1 Abrams tank taken through a set of NVGs. Pretty cool stuff. The M1s provide overwatch for the convoys moving throughout theater. I would think that the sight of one of these machines would be enough to deter me from planting an IED.

Was checking out the pictures that you posted here. Just wondering what the heck is going on in the background of the picture with the two Joes and the little kid. Any idea? Thats quite a few people bunched up under that make shift deal & it looks like they're all on some kind of artificial turf.

Those are the people that are waiting to get paid. They bring their "evidence" of US soldiers damaging their property, running them off the road, shooting them on accident, etc, and we pay them for it. I guess some of them are Iraqi lawyers.
